The other common shelving unit model is the Series 200A Low Profile Shelving. These units are commonly used to store items such as tool boxes, coolers, smaller boxes, cleaning supplies, food cans, files, paper work, dishes, toys, clothes, and any other small or loose items. These shelving units can hold up much more boards then the other shelving series and can hold anywhere from three, four, five, six, or more shelves at a time.
Additional items can be bought with the shelving units to help maximize product accessibility. Particle board decking is chosen when looking to store heavy duty applications. If this is desired, a ¾” thick board decking is recommended. If looking for standard light duty applications, the ½” thick particle board decking is recommended. Particle board decking is a wood material used to make the shelves for these units; it is very durable and gives the unit a nice finished look. Mobile Shelf cart bases are also available to those who want a shelving unit on wheels. The capacity for these carts can hold anywhere from 500-1000 lbs per base. These carts are ideal for work/personal settings that require a lot of mobility.
