Cantilever racks have four main parts to its build; columns, arms, bases, and X- Braces. These components make up the form of the cantilever rack. The dimensions on the unit for a 12’ column would have a spec of 5”x 10” structure and its weight is 210.9 with a capacity of 12,000 lbs per side. A column with 16”, spec of 5” x 10” holds a structural weight of 276.7 but its weight capacity is 10,000 lbs on each side. Cantilevers can be built to be either a single base or a double base structure. Dimensions vary with the size of specific built structures. Compared to a 4” Brace kit for a 16’ column would be 50.3 lbs. A 4’ brace kit for a 12” column would weigh 38.6 lbs. X Braces stand at 3 ft. Bases can be bought at 48” Single Bases or at 48” Double Base that are 145.3 lbs.

Additional arms can be purchased as well as adding more units. A starter for a medium duty Cantilever Rack single sided unit is required to have 2 columns, 4 connecting beams, and 4 arms. Add on units require 1 column, 4 connecting beams, and 4 arms. A double sided unit requires 2 column, 4 connecting beams, and 8 arms. Add-ons for this unit are 1 column, 4 connecting beams, and 8 arms. Heavy duty arm End-Stops can also be purchased.

Columns are available in 8', 10', or 12' high. Arms are available in 24", 36", or 48". Two bases per column, and one brace set and arms are required to make one free standing starter unit. Additional sections can be added to starter units by purchasing one additional base / column, one brace set, and arms. Components feature 14 gauge construction. Choose either 12", 18", or 24" arms. Angled arms and welded end-stops provide secure/safe storage of extra-long stock. Units assemble in less than 10 minutes.
