The Church of Later Day Saints has many churches located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The LDS-Church provides many great opportunities to serve their community. LDS Church provides services for families in need, children, seniors, and local charities, just to name a few.

THE SITUATION:

The LDS church buys 865 wire shelving units from us a month and then distribute them to other stakes to be used as storage for food, clothes, blankets, home necessities, etc.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

Jaken Wire Shelving is a storage unit that uses wire mesh as shelves. It stands on four adjustable poles and can have multiple shelving units. The wire shelving unit can be coated in either chrome or black powder.

The open wire construction reduces dust build up, improves visibility, and allows free light/ air circulation. The four types of wire shelving that is offered are; Chrome Stationary Wire Shelving, Chrome Mobile Wire Shelving and Utility Carts, Black Powder Coated Stationary and Mobile Units. The stationary units are designed to be placed in one spot as a permanent unit. Mobile units have wheels and allow the unit to be moved around much like a cart. Shelf capacities for carts vary from 300, 400, and 500 lbs. Capacity for stationary units can also range from 300, 400, and 500 lbs. Additional items can be bought along with the Wire Shelving unit. Chrome basket shelves can be bought and added to stationary or cart units and are used as an extra basket or “shelf” and can be used to hold small bulk loads of items. Chrome Shelf dividers can also be added to stationary of cart unit and are used to separate items being held within the cart. Chrome Cantilever Shelves are smaller sized shelves that can be hooked onto the shelving unit to hold smaller things such as small boxes and bins. Another very useful item that can be bought with the wire decking unit is Chrome Document Holders. These are used to hold documents into the unit and keep items organized and all in one place.
