Sliman & Butler Irrigation needed a place to store their irrigation inventory. They wanted something with a high weight capacity as they can have a lot of inventory. Sliman & Butler Irrigation also wanted to keep their inventory on pallets.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

A pallet rack is a very large storage rack used to store products that are large or on pallets. Each section of pallet rack has multiple levels that are accessible from the front and the back. A tall upright is placed at each corner to hold the levels up, and to connect sections together. The uprights on the front and back of each side are connected by horizontal and diagonal metal pieces for better stability and a higher weight capacity. Each level has two beams, one on the front and one on the back. The beams work like a shelf, they are used to hold the products. Pallet racks are designed for use with forklifts. 

Pallet racks come in both, regular duty and heavy duty. Regular duty uprights can be 8 feet, 10 feet and 12 feet tall, while heavy duty uprights come in 10 feet, 12 feet, 15 feet and 16 feet. The depths on both regular and heavy duty come in 3 feet, 3 ½ feet, and 4 feet. The levels/beams can be adjusted every 2 inches to fit the size of product you plan on storing. Regular duty uprights have a weight capacity of 16,100 lbs. per upright, and heavy duty have a capacity of 23,300 lbs. per upright. There are many accessories that can be bought for your pallet rack. Mesh wire decking and wood decking can be purchased for other products to be stored. Mesh wire decking allows light and air circulation for the lower levels, as well as reducing dust build-up. If you need to support a pallet or wood decking, steel safety supports are available to fit your pallet rack. Don’t worry about damaging your valuable rack columns, buy frame guards to protect them! Adhesive and Magnetic labels can be purchased to keep your stored products organized. They are compatible with Ink Jet and Laser printers.
