BEAR RIVER HEALTH DEPARTMENT HAS UTILIZED TIMES 2 FILES FOR THIER MEDICAL RECORDS FOR A SECONED TIME!

Every day, we strive to fulfill our public health mission. In recent years, however that has become a more challenging task. We are not only addressing the traditional, core public health activities such as restaurant inspections, immunization clinics, substance abuse treatment, infectious disease monitoring, and tobacco prevention education, but we are now constantly facing more daunting, high profile issues that require specialists from multiple disciplines and multiple divisions. This year for example those issues included air pollution, the spread of West Nile Virus, and an E. Coli outbreak.

Our Board of Health and our employees have risen to meet these growing challenges, and we pledge to offer the highest levels of professional services and to utilize our limited resources as effectively and efficiently as possible. We need to remember that success of public health should not be measured by the presence of disease but rather by keeping a community well. This is the ultimate goal with all of our public health endeavors.

We want to prevent disease and disability. We want to promote healthy lifestyles and we want to protect the environment to ensure the highest quality of life for us and our future generations.
