To meet ADA requirements, to increase productivity, and best utilize floor space, Davis Schools installed two Megastar system lektriever style electronic lateral files. These systems are available in horizontal carousels or vertical carousels. ADA requirements, space availably, records activity, and productivity needs guide our customers to the correct Megastar carousel. School Districts can buy megastar systems lektriever style units on GSA contract or commercial pricing. megastar systems carousels. are the only lektriever style carousels. that are ADA compliant. Megastar systems electric lateral file systems are a great solution for school district personnel records, test books are nicely stored in movable sliding shelving for greater density of filing.

Richards Wilcox Aurora four-post library shelving is available off the state of Utah contract for many Utah libraries; And Estey cantilever library is available for all libraries everywhere.

Organizational Goals

The following organizational goals provide the direction for fostering educational excellence:

Standards and Accountability for Students and Employees

The District will establish standards and expectations supporting the Davis Model of Public Education. Standards and accountability will include defining standards, assessing accomplishments, and evaluating progress of students, employees, schools, and the District.

The District will have a shared vision for leadership, that fosters the learning process, school climate, organizational management, ethical conduct and community relations.

Environment for Learning and Working

The District will plan for the accommodation of fluctuating enrollments, and build and maintain excellent learning facilities. Assessment, improvement, and maintenance of existing facilities will continue with the result of providing a safe and productive learning and work environment.

Environment for Respect

The District will create an environment in which every individual is viewed as able, valuable, and responsible and is treated accordingly. Each employee and student will demonstrate, through words and actions, respect for students, staff, patrons, and community members and be co-responsible for maintaining the highest standards of fairness and equity.
