In 2003 Hill Air Force Base Security installed high-density shelving and megastar units to store police records and evidence. With the complexity of cases today as much evidence as possible must be secured, causing the number of total stored records to skyrocket.

With emerging technologies the evidence must also be stored for a longer period of time then in the past. The Hill Air force Base Security Department used high-density moveable shelving from NationWideShelving to maximize the storage in their new evidence rooms and megastar units for their records. High-density moveable Space Saving Shelving style shelving by Richard Wilcox is the most space efficient solution available today. As compared to traditional shelving systems it typical allows two (2) to three (3) times the storage. Megastar units for the records are ADA compliant.
