Immigrations Customs Enforcement File and Property and Evidence Storage

Project manager Cody Hartman we assigned the project to install Mobile File and Mobile Property and Evidence Storage Systems at the Immigrations Customs Enforcement at the Field Office in Salt Lake City Utah. 2975 Decker Lake Drive, Suite 100 W. Valley City, UT 84119-6096.
All Aurora Storage Systems product supplied by nationWide Shelving included, one mechanical assist and one elctrical mobile shelving systems. The electrical mobile shelving system utitlized decorative laminate end panels and the mechanical mobile shelving has steel end panels. One system stores files and one property and evidence. A local contract furnature comany asked for help with design and to supply mobile shelving as part of the furnature package. The electrical system is on the second floor so floor laoding was caluclated thoruighy a local structural engineer furm and implemented into the desgn of the building. stanard safties feature including photo sweeps and asile entry sensors. All floor coverings were already laid and ramp and rail was able to go right over the top without addistion flooring expenmse or coordination by the cusomter. The abilty to restrick accresss with the use of the lcd touch screen with 9999 pin codes for various employees was key to the sale. Case style uprights were not needed so four post uprights were supplied but adjustable dividers on slotted shelves were used to hold material upright an in good order. Training to uyse the system was done upon copmpletiopn. As this is a highly secured area, nationWide Shelving worked hand in hand with Department of Homelasnd securityy for installation of the high density shelving. It required intense coordination for everyone. Also included in the product suppied was wire shelving for the storage of supplies from a to z, including computer monitors and reams of paper. Each state has its own I.C.E. building for the states Homeland Security. Exsiintg shelving was used for amo storage. The file shelving is for legal files for the legal department.
