Wire Shelving on Mobile Shelving for Medical Supplies Company

THE SITUATION:

This company had a massive load of medical equipment that needed to be stored on a visible and open shelf all while condensing the limited space they had for storage.

THE SOLUTION:

They had pre brought wire shelving and we presented them with a mobile shelving unit with wire decking on the shelves that gave them visibility, condensed storage space, and made their supply room organized.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

This specific unit is very unique in its structure. It combines the mobile shelving unit with wire decking rather than the standard decking. The mobile shelving unit has tracks lying down on the floor and the units stand on top of the tracks. They each have their own turning wheel which allows the unit to be moved forward or back. This is perfect for wanting access to only one specific unit and being able to access it with no problems. The wire decking allows for product to be completely visible and allows air and heat ventilation and eliminates any dust particles from building up on the shelf. These shelves are also a great investment because other shelves can be added to the unit without having to rebuild the entire unit and buy an additional unit.

Carriage Heights range on the unit anywhere from 2-1/2”, 3-15/16" and, 5-15/16". Allowable Capacity per Carriage ranges from 750+ lbs, 100 lbs, and 1500 lbs. The Gauge Steel dimensions for the main beam: 16 and for the cross member: 12. Dimensions of carriage depth are 12", 15", 24", 30" 9", 10", 18", 20", 36", 48". Rail heights reach .56” and the anti-tip rail height reaches .62”. Movable Carriage Widths reach 12 - 48", 15 - 48" (Custom 60" available). The assembly for these units are either bolted or welded. The units can also be made to have specific colors/end panel’s options as well as having the option of having extra security on the unit. Additional security options would be a filing drawer, divided drawer, combination unit, quik- door, sliding door, retractable door, magazine door, garment cabinet, and quik-roll.

Many accessories can be purchased with the mobile shelving unit such as a reference shelf, bin dividers, garment cabinet, media shelves, hanging racks, sloped shelfs, newspaper racks, and additional ramp and rails.
