When necessary, we combine both Magnetic and Optical
navigation processes.
This navigation method is Ideal in applications requiring
the flexibility of regular guide path changes. It is accurate
to plus or minus 10 mm and changes can be made
real time. No training is required to implement guide
path changes or to create entirely new guide paths. Multiple
guide paths or guide path spurs can be created and
utilized with the TC-900SCN fully programmable cart.
Once a vehicle is placed on the guide path and activated
it will travel to the programmed location.
An RF Communication system in conjunction with an offboard
PLC can also be implemented with the TC-
900SCN. RF Communication gives the system operator
the ability to manually input move orders real time. The
offboard PLC in concert with discreet I/O can receive
move order inputs automatically, without operator involvement,
buffer those inputs, and then in turn initiate
those move orders on a FIFO basis. A discreet RF I/O
gatherer can automatically poll the PLC without operator
input and allow the system to run in fully automatic
mode.

TC-900SP CART DIMENSIONS:
GENERAL ARRANGEMENT:
The TC-900SP cart has a heavy duty 12V drive system
and a drive assembly lift motor. When the
power is off the drive assembly is lifted and nested
safely up against the vehicle frame. With almost two
(2”) inches of clearance between the drive wheels
and the floor, the operator is able to move the cart
around by hand as you would a shopping cart. No
additional equipment is needed to lift or carry the
cart when the power is shut down.
The TC-900SP has been designed specifically as a
heavy duty pallet/load cart with a lift. The cart can
actually lift its load a full 50MM. This allows the cart
to drop loads onto a fixed stand and drive away from
under the load. After automatically being placed on
the stand by the cart.
The robust cart can lift and carry up to 200kg, which
is the largest load capacity of a lift cart in its class.
The battery and electronic controls components are
conveniently located in a cabinet mounted on the
front of the cart. A maintenance technician or system
operator now has easy access to the battery and
controls while performing routine maintenance. the
TC-900SP has a clear and open deck with the entire
surface open and available for product.

GUIDANCE SYSTEM:
Generic Guide Path
NAVIGATION:
The Guidance System utilized in an AutoMotion Cart System
is either Magnetic, Optical, or a combination of both
Optical and Magnetic.
This navigation method is Ideal in applications requiring
the flexibility of regular guide path changes. It is accurate
to plus or minus 10 mm and changes can be made real
time.
No training is required to implement guide path changes
or to create entirely new guide paths.
Multiple guide paths or guide path spurs can be created
and utilized with a fully programmable cart system.
A big advantage with the TC-900WP 24 is it’s ability to
travel full forward or full reverse at the same maximum
speed, which opens up significant possibilities when mapping
out the guide path. Forward and reversing ability
brings flexibility not realized with a uni-directional cart.
With full forward and reverse capability the cart can be
fitted with a fully automatic hitch and therefore reverse
into a station and automatically hitch to a fully loaded
stationary trailer. The vehicle can automatically drop an
empty trailer as well.
GENERAL ARRANGEMENT:
The TC-900WP 24 cart has two (2) sets of drives
allowing both forward and reverse capability. The
cart has a 24V drive system and the deck of the
vehicle shows the space required by the additional
battery used, along with the control tower,
which also consumes some of the available space
on the cart deck.
However, the TC-900WP 24 can have a deck fixture
installed, which provides a clear and open
area with the entire surface available for product.
Bidirectional travel is a major feature or benefit of
the TC-900WP 24 cart. These vehicles can travel
full forward or in full reverse at the same maximum
speed. Bi-directional travel combined with a
fully automatic hitch unhitch ability opens up numerous
routing possibilities when mapping out a
guide path layout.
