THE CLIENT: Basic Research located in Salt Lake City, UT 84116

THE SITUATION:

Basic Research needed a heavy duty storage solution for their warehouse. Not only did they need to save space, but Basic Research needed to have storage levels that could support the weight of their products. Items were in need of storage included, but are not limited to: liquids, cosmetic enhancements, weight loss products, bodybuilding supplements, anti-aging products, joint health support solutions, skin care enhancers, and more.

THE SOLUTION:

Basic Research bought heavy duty pallet racks for their warehouse. They changed the configuration of their warehouse storage layout, and Basic Research ended up saving more space than they expected. The loading and step beams would be sufficient to hold the weight capacity of each pallet, which would have Basic Research's products on top of them.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

All Jaken heavy duty pallet racks feature 3" x 3" columns and 5" x 8" seismic base plates for uprights. Heavy duty uprights are constructed of 14 gauge steel and provide 16,100 pounds weight capacity. 14 gauge steel means thicker and stronger steel, compared to 16 gauge steel, which is a bit thinner. The new bolt together design provides a lower cost of ownership, because components can be easily replaced during use, while traditional welded uprights require replacement of the entire upright. Racks are designed for use with a forklift or for heavy duty hand stacking.
