Machine Guarding offers adaptive protective panels for factories. The posts have different component options to fit any kind of metal mesh, sheeting or polycarbonate panels. You can create the perfect arrangement for any cage to fit in many kinds of areas. Per the Machinery Directive, the system is required to disassemble without damaging it.
These panels are 7' 2.6" and 4' 7.1" with a 5.9" floor gap for easy cleaning access. The panels are available in 7 different widths, from 7.9" up to 4' 11.1". Both can be customized to any dimension. The manufacturer keeps it in stock for immediate delivery for your convenience.
Strong Fix
For difficult to fit areas and unprotected environments, the Strong Fix panels are recommended. The Strong Fix panels have sturdy components and heavy duty posts of 3.1" x 3.1", these panels can withstand strong impacts. The ST30 mesh panels have been proven to endure impacts up to 1,475 foot-pound force. These cages can be used to protect machines and robots. Rapid Fix

The Machine Guarding Components
Machine Guarding panels and posts are made of high quality steel, a robot produces it which ensures a dependable high quality. Panels, posts and their bracket system has been tested to withstand impacts from 228 foot-pound force up to 1,475 foot-pound force.
Mesh Panels
The machine guarding frames com in two widths, ST20: 0.75" x 0.75" and ST30: 1.1" x 0.78". They have the classic wire mesh look and size of 0.78" x 3.9".
Polycarbonate Panels
If an overview of the production line is desired the Transparent ST PC polycarbonate panel is recommended. It will defend against debris and waste from harming employees and machines.
Sheet Metal Panels
Customer who are welding in their warehouse or prefer solid panels should get the URSP sheet metal panels.
Posts
2.4" x 1.6" is the standard size post and it comes in three heights: 4' 7.1", 7' 2.6" and 9' 10". The base is welded to reinforce its construction. 3.1" x 3.1" post is the larger size and should be used in areas where there is a greater risk of collision or impact with objects and machines.
Customization
Desired dimensions are possible because of the customization the panels and post allow. Panels can be order in the desired size. Although, the custom kits make it possible to modify it to perfectly fit the space. Post can also be made to order. The manufacturer keeps the standard size panels and posts in stock for quick delivery. (The standard color is gray)
Surface Treatment
Gray or Black powder coated paint is the standard color on the panels. A few colors available for the posts are black, yellow, or gray powder paint. Although, different colors are available but may take 1-2 weeks to produce. Mesh panels and posts suitable for humid and wet environments are stocked.

Doors and Locks for Existing Security Requirements
The doors are available in hinged, sliding, telescopic and linear doors. The standard widths start from 2' 3.5" up to 13' 1.5" and heights up to 13' 5.4". The doors are considered to be part of the modular system. The system is made up of custom strength and several materials which are metal mesh, sheet metal or polycarbonate.
The doors are delivered in two options: assembled with panels, posts, and locks assembled at the factory or as unassembled panels, posts, and brackets which are very easy to assemble. The manufacturer keeps the door solutions parts in stock. Each door and lock combinations include assembly instructions.
Hinged Doors
Mesh, polycarbonate or sheet metal panels make up the hinged doors. The panel’s widths start from 2' 3.5" up to 4' 11.1" in for single hinged doors and 4' 7.1" to 9' 10.1" for double hinged doors. Heights range from 4' 1.2" to 13' 5.4".
Sliding Doors
The aluminum track keeps the panels in place. The sliding doors come in single our double tracks. Mesh, polycarbonate or sheet metal panels make up the sliding doors. The panel’s widths start from 2' 3.6" up to 4' 11.1" for single hinged doors and 4' 7.1" to 9' 10.1" for double hinged doors. Heights range from 4' 1.2" to 13' 5.4".
Telescopic Sliding Doors
Telescopic sliding doors are attached to a telescopic track at the top and bottom. It is constructed of mesh or polycarbonate panels. The opening is up to 9' 10.1". The telescopic track gives a stable sliding door with access to both above and sides of the panel.
Linear Sliding Doors
The door leaf is on roller bearings at the bottom and top. This creates a passage access above and to the side of the panel. Mesh panels make up this linear sliding door. The widths are up to 13' 1".
Automatic Sliding Doors
One of the options available is a sliding door that is automatic. It has motor from Beason/ASSA ABLOY. It has its own posts and panels. The automatic sliding door widths are up to 19' 8". It is available in single or double doors. The motor that moves the door meets the requirements of the Machinery Directive. There is an option to have the door ordered with a Performance Level E safety switch.
Automatic Quick Roll Doors
RapidProtect 300 makes the quick roll doors from Albany/ASSA ABLOY. It is a type tested machine guarding door that is very durable. The door leaf offers extra protection and it meets the guidelines for machine security. The key feature of this door is that is quickly opens and closes. The performance Level E safety switch is included.
Locks
There are several locks available and it depend on what type of security is desired. A few examples are: euro cylinder locks and simple magnet locks. All of the locks can be upgraded with one or more electronic switches. The following switches are kept in stock: Schmersal, Jakob.ABB, Euchner, GuardMaster Rockwell, and Telemecanique. Although, the following switches can be provided: Sick, Fortess, Pizzato, Pilz, and other manufactures.

The Standard Classic is for applications that do not have high security risks or have protection from the exterior. The Classic wire mesh partitions allows light, air and view from outside the cage. In case of a fire, it can be defused directly though the panels. The threshold-less door is similar to the leaf of the Medium.
Panels
The UR 350 Panel is for areas with low risk of theft. The partitions offer a light and airy atmosphere. Many customers often like to use the UR 350 partitions to separate areas and machines. The frames are made of welded tubing that is 0.75" x 0.75" and the wire mesh is 0.1". (The same as 3.9" x 2.0" or 2.0" x 2.0")
Doors
The UR350 Door frame is stable and secure thanks to the 1.2" x 0.8" steel tubing and two expertly designed cross tubes. The secure threshold-less doors are especially made to allow access for handicapped individuals. The mesh partitions are 2.0" x 2.0" and are very strong; it is next to impossible to break into by hand. The doors are delivered assembled and are ready to be installed. The standard color is gray but other colors are available.
Protection from View
When digression is required, it is recommended to get the Type P which is made for corrugated steel sheets. It will protect individuals from viewing inside the cage. It is compatible with UR 350 UX 450 and partitions walls & roofs.

Medium is a great storage system for apartment building, cellars and attics, where a moderate level of protection is desired. Medium protect against theft and break-ins thanks to its approved locks and reinforced front panels. The wire mesh allows tenants to feel safe because they can see though the panels or see if anyone in the area. The Medium panels allows air, light and view from outside the cage. In case of a fire, it can be defused directly though the wire mesh.
Panels
If a moderate level of protections is desired the Medium UX 450 mesh panel is recommended. The UX 450 can protect against break-ins because it has stable mesh partitions. The mesh is press welded 3" x 3.75" wire and the tubing is 1.2" x 0.8". The mesh partitions are 2.0" x 2.0" and are really strong; it is next to impossible to break into by hand. The effortless assembly of the UX 450 is customizable and can be made to fit any type of area. The Medium can fit any ceiling height, it also fits both narrow and wide areas. The Medium is compatible with UX550 and UR350.
Doors
The UX 450 mesh panels are compatible with the Medium system with a UX 450 door included. The doors should be used in areas with a strong exterior protection. The door can defend against theft and break-ins because of the padlock door and the padlock made specifically for it. The frame is made of steel tubing that is 1.2" x 0.8" and has two cross tubing to make it stronger and secure. The doors are delivered assembled and are ready to be installed. It has no threshold which makes it easily accessible for handicapped and individuals in wheelchairs.
Protection From View
The UR SP is a panel that is solid and it has a high level of protection against break-ins. Since the sheet metal panels are solid, it is impossible to see inside. Most customers use it as a front wall in areas with a moderate level of protection outside. A solid door is available if wire mesh is not desired. The door has a latch built in for the padlock. The UR SP is compatible with a wide selection of mesh partitions.
Accessories
There are a number of accessories available to adapt to areas that have sloping floors or ceilings. The Step-Free adjustments were made specifically for unique floors or uneven floors. The installation is simple, it has self-tapping screws and a number of different mountings that are easy to assemble. The Snapper mounting is used to fasten panels together. One can fill gaps in the walls and ceiling by using the special sections to customize the panels to fit. A variety of shelving systems and accessories make it possible for flexible placement.

The UX 550 was designed with the emphasis of security and the most advanced & secure mesh panels. There is a special section on the partitions to minimize the risk of break-ins. The Safe system has been tested and is in accordance with EN1627-30. A few applications where UX 550 is typically used are storage spaces, apartment buildings, cellars, attics, or spaces where an extra high level of security is desired. The Safe system is customizable and can be used in just about anywhere. The UX 450 and UR 650 Series is compatible with the Safe system.
Doors
The Safe system UX550 door was specifically made to be used with the UX 550 mesh panels. The UX550 door has been approved by the Swedish Theft Prevention Association (SSF) and the door should be used in areas where an extra high level of security is desired. The frame is made of steel tubing that is 1.2x0.8 in and has two cross tubing to make it stronger and secure. The Padlock includes a cover that was especially designed to provide extra protection. The Door is 2.0" x 2.0" which is the same as the partition panes. The doors are delivered assembled and are ready to be installed. It has no threshold which makes it easily accessible for handicapped and individuals in wheelchairs.
Accessories
The Safe system has secure storage accessories with applications to allow narrow or wide areas, low or high ceilings, and slanted floors. The UX550 accessories has been approved by the Swedish Theft Prevention Association (SSF) and the it should be used in spaces that are vulnerable to theft and break-ins. One can fill gaps in the walls and ceiling by using the special sections to customize the panels to fit. A variety of shelving systems and accessories make it possible for flexible placement.
